Ariel Cohen

Ariel leads the accounting group, overseeing all property, investment, financial, and partnership reporting for the firm’s portfolio. With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, he uses his expertise to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the firm’s continued growth and plays a key role in all major transactions.

Prior to joining Monday Properties, Ariel was controller for The Sapir Organization where he led the accounting team that was responsible for a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the New York market. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in managing the accounting and financing for more than 10 million square feet of real estate in various investment portfolios.

Ariel graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and computer and information science. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York, as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
