Monday Properties Installs Car Charging Stations in Rosslyn
Rosslyn, VA - October 17, 2012 Monday Properties has installed Rosslyn’s first office workplace electric car charging stations, called “Juice Bar,” at its MPARK parking garage in 1000 and 1100 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington County’s “Twin Towers” trophy office buildings.
According to MPARK, a division of Monday Properties that operates the on-site parking facility, two cars can be accommodated simultaneously -- at present.
Motorists who park in The Towers may use the chargers for free.
Monday Properties will install a second Juice Bar at 1101 Wilson Boulevard, the largest parking garage in Rosslyn. The company will also add as many as 15 charging stations at 1812 North Moore Street, soon to become the region’s tallest and greenest office tower when it opens in Q4 2013.
As a result of these sustainable initiatives, the parking garage at The Towers has been designated as Virginia’s first Demonstrator Site by the U.S. Green Parking Council.
The Twin Towers consist of 1000 Wilson and 1100 Wilson Boulevard, with a total of 1,081,000 square feet of trophy office space.
