In this role, Mr. Machowsky will focus on selecting and closing new property acquisitions, creating value in current assets and raising capital from investment partners.

Previously, Mr. Machowsky was Managing Director for Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group. At Transwestern, Mr. Machowsky represented numerous commercial real estate investors and participated in over $4 billion of capital market transactions. Prior to joining Transwestern in 2013, Mr. Machowsky worked as a tenant and landlord leasing broker for nine years with Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, participating in over 10 million square feet of leasing transactions. He managed both leasing and acquisitions for Penzance’s 2-million-square-foot office portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic region for nearly four years.
Mr. Machowsky is a member of The Urban Land Institute (ULI) and The District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA). Mr. Machowsky holds a master’s in real estate investment from Georgetown University. He also received his bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from Georgetown University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
